RAB to beef up security over Oct 28 rally

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) will strengthen security centring the rallies announced by political parties, slated to be held on October 28 in the capital.

The elite force will set up check-posts at the entrances of Dhaka, different important spots, and intersections of the city to intensify security measures for the gatherings of political parties.

“Necessary actions will be taken as per the law if any vested quarter attempts to carry out sabotage over the rallies,” said Commander Khandaker Al Moin, director (Legal and Media wing) of RAB, at a press conference held RAB headquarters in the capital on Wednesday (October 25).
