Police remove Jamaat activists from Shapla Chattar

In a bid to blockade the capital Dhaka, Jamaat-e-Islami announced that they will take position at Shapla Chattar in the capital's Motijheel area on October 28 (Saturday).
They will also hold its rally at Shapla Chattar on October 28 at any cost, sources in the party said.
As part of their scheduled program, Jamaat activists started gathering in the Shapla Chattar after 8.00am. But police men removed them from the place and they took shelter near the lanes.
Huge number of Jamaat-e-Islami activists were seen in Kakrail, Paltan, Bijoynagar, Fakirapool, Razarbagh and Motijheel areas, sources said.
