BNP calls countrywide hartal for Sunday

BNP has called countrywide dawn-to-dusk hartal for Sunday in protest against police attack on their rally.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the hartal from their Nayapaltan rally in the city on Saturday.

Earlier police charged several sound grenade and tear gas to disperse the rally.

Mirza Fakhrul announced the hartal around 3:10pm.
