Police member killed in Fakirapool clash

A police member has been killed in a clash between the activists of BNP-Jamaat and Awami League  in the capital Fakirapool.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

In-charge of police outpost of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) Md Bachchu Mia confirmed the news on Saturday afternoon.

He said a policeman was rescued with a critical condition after the clash around 3:30pm and he was taken to DMCH where doctors declared him dead around 4:15pm.

The dead body has been kept at the hospital morgue.
