BNP claims Juba Dal leader killed in clash with police

A Juba Dal leader named Shamim Mollah has died in a clash with police at Nayapaltan in the capital.

BNP leader Shafiqul Islam Milton came up with the claim on Saturday.

BNP’s media cell member Kader Gani Chowdhury also informed this to media.

Shamim received bullet injury during a clash in the capital’s Nayapaltan area on Saturday noon. He was immediately taken to Police Lines Hospital in critical condition, where he breathed his last, BNP claimed.

But Director of the hospital Md Rezaul Haider said he died of heart attack.

Shamim was the president of ward-7 unit of Mugda Thana Juba Dal.
