Case filed over policeman murder

A case was filed over the murder of police member during the clash between law enforcers and BNP men in the capital.

The case was filed with Paltan Model police station on Sunday (October 29).

Confirming the matter, Salahuddin Mia, Officer-in-Charge of Paltan Police station said legal action will be taken against the accused after checking the CCTV footage.

Earlier on Saturday, the policeman was killed when BNP activists locked into violent clashes. The deceased was known as Amirul Islam Parvez/ He was a member of the counterterrorism unit of the police.
