Biden’s so-called adviser held while ‘fleeing to USA’

Police detained the man introducing himself as an advisor to US President Joe Biden during a press briefing at the BNP office yesterday while he was ‘fleeing to the USA’. 

Mian Jahidul Islam Arefi was detained from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Sunday (October 29) noon.

Additional commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) and chief of Detective Branch (DB) of DMP Harun or Rashid confirmed the news.

The DB chief said, “He was being taken to the DB office on Minto Road for interrogation.”
