1544 arrested in 36 cases filed over violence on Oct 28

A total of 36 cases have been filed with different police stations of the capital in last two days over the clashes and violence during the grand rally of BNP on October 28.

Some 1,544 people have been named and 1,772 people have been arrested in these cases.

Faruk Hossain, deputy commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), confirmed the information on Monday (October 30) afternoon.
