BNP leader Aminul, 2 others placed on 8-day remand

A Dhaka court has placed BNP’s Dhaka North city unit member secretary Aminul Haq and two others on an eight-day remand in a sabotage case filed with Paltan Model Thana.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Nurul Huda Chowdhury passed the remand order on Thursday (November 2) after Paltan Model Thana Sub-Inspector Yusuf Mia, also the investigation officer of the case, produced the accused before the court and pleaded to place them on 10-day remand.
Other accused who were placed on remand are Jubo Dal’s Dhaka North city unit Member Secretary Miraz and Golam Kibria.
Earlier, law enforcers arrested BNP’s Dhaka North city unit member secretary Aminul Haq and two others from the city’s Gulshan area. They were arrested during the “peaceful blockade”.
