Prime Minister urges people to prevent arson violence

Prime Minister and President of Bangladesh Awami League Sheikh Hasina has called upon the people to build a strong resistance against BNP’s arson attacks.

The Prime Minister made the call while addressing a program, marking the Jail Killing Day, at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the city on Friday.

The Prime Minister said, “The BNP has again started arson attacks. How they beat the police? Are they human? Do they have humanity? What was their (policemen) crime?”

“BNP carried out same attacks in 2013, 2014, 2015. Today I will say, the time has come, everyone should prevent the arson terrorists”, she said.

“They (BNP) know that they cannot come to power through elections. BNP does not want elections. They want to create anarchy”, she said.
