65,000 Ansar members being deployed across country

A total of 65,000 Ansar and Village Defence Party (VDP) members are being deployed across the country to keep law and order situation under control during the BNP-Jamaat’s 48-hour blockade, staring from Sunday morning.

Zahidul Islam, deputy director (project and training) of Ansar headquarters, informed this to media on Saturday (November 4) night.

The Ansar members will be deployed at rail stations, bus stands and launch terminals, government and non-government offices and important places to ensure security.
