BNP-Jamaat’s blockade: RAB deploys 300 patrol teams

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has strengthened security measures in the capital and elsewhere in the country to ensure public safety and protect public properties during the countrywide blockade programme called by BNP-Jamaat and its allied parties.

As part of the security measures, about 300 patrol teams of 15 battalions have been deployed across the country among which 70 patrol teams engaged in the capital.

The elite force has also strengthened surveillance across the country.

RAB Legal and Media Wing Director Commander Khandaker Al Moin confirmed the development on Sunday (November 5).
