3 policemen injured in cocktail blasts in Uttara

Miscreants threw cocktails targeting a police vehicle when it was patrolling in the capital’s Uttara House Building area on Sunday (November 5) morning, leaving three police members, including a sub-inspector, injured.

Police caught red-handed Gazipur City Chhatra Dal’s former vice-president Kazi Mohammad Hasan in connection with the incident.

Local people took the injured policemen to a nearby hospital.

Uttara West police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Masud Alam confirmed the matter and said: “Detained Hasan is being interrogated.”
