Peter Haas holds 2hr meeting with Saber Chowdhury

US Ambassador to Bangladesh Peter Haas held a two-hour meeting with Awami League leader Saber Hossain Chowdhury at the latter’s residence on Monday afternoon.

But it is unclear what was discussed there.

Haas entered Saber’s house at 2:15pm and left at 4:15pm. He did not interact with the media, and Saber did not come out of the house.

Earlier, on November 3, Peter Haas held a ‘closed-door’ meeting with Foreign Secretary Masood bin Momen at the state guest house Padma.

Besides, on October 31, the US ambassador held a meeting at the Election Commission office at Agargaon.
