9 more die from dengue

Nine more dengue patients died across the country in the past 24 hours till Monday (November 6), raising the number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease to 1,417.

According to a statement of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), a total of 1,794 new dengue patients were hospitalized over the period.

With the new cases, the total number of patients rose to 2,81,698, the statement said.
