JCD leader Aman remanded in constable murder case

A Dhaka court on Tuesday (November 7) granted a seven-day remand to Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader Amanullah Aman, the prime accused in police constable Amirul murder case.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury granted the remand order after the investigating officer of the case produced Aman, central joint-secretary of the JCD, before the court and pleaded to place him on a seven-day remand.
Earlier, the Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested Aman from Mohakhali bus stand area on Monday evening.
