Nazmul Huda

Staff Correspondent: Former BNP leader, also the chairman of ‘Jatiya Manabadhikar Party’ (National Human Rights Party), Nazmul Huda met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her residence ‘Ganabhabon’ on Monday night.

A reliable source of Ganabhabon told risingbd that Nazmul Huda is the founder of a human rights organization. The World Human Rights day will be observed on December 10.

On the day, his organisation’s implementation committee will hold a conference.

On the occasion, he came to invite Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and requested her to attend the programme.

When contacted, Nazmul Huda’s mobile phone found switched off.

Huda, the former vice-chairman of BNP, was expelled from the party in 2010 for going against the party position after Khaleda Zia had left her home of 28 years in Dhaka Cantonment after losing court battle.

Then he floated a political party, the Bangladesh Nationalist Front (BNF), which later drove him out too.

Afterwards, in May last year, he formed another party called the National Alliance (NA) but was met with no response.
