Seminar titled ‘China in My Eyes- Ningxia’ held in China

A seminar titled ‘China in My Eyes- Ningxia’ was successfully held at the Auditorium of the Western Airport Aviation Hotel in Yinchuan, the capital of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region with the participation of Bangladeshi student.

The purpose of the seminar is to promote mutual cooperation between China and foreign countries, and to understand China more truly, comprehensively, and objectively.

On 08 September afternoon, the seminar was hosted by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries in collaboration with the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

The keynote address was delivered by Ambassador Lin Songtian, President of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, while Bai Yuzhen, Director General of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Foreign Affairs Office, moderated the seminar.

Ambassador Lin Songtian said development is the “golden key” to solving all problems and the common pursuit of the people of the world. To achieve development, we cannot do without stability; to achieve stability, we cannot do without social solidarity; to achieve solidarity, we must give full attention to the institutional advantages of socialism to achieve common prosperity. As long as we are united and committed to the development, everything is possible. The great achievements of China in the new era are the result of the united efforts of more than 1.4 billion Chinese people.

At the invitation of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Bangladeshi student Mohammad Saiyedul Islam, a doctoral fellow at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, participated in the seminar. He spoke at the seminar on the topic of “From the purple miracle of Ningxia to the principle that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets.”

Asian, African, and Latin American diplomatic envoys; youth representatives; senior executives of multinational companies in China; and media representatives participated in this seminar. They spoke at seminars on Ningxia's poverty alleviation and development, innovation-driven development and green development, database management and innovative ideas, and digital economy.

Before the seminar, from 05 to 07 September, the delegates visited Ningxia's development activities and other sites, so as to gain practical experience of Ningxia's development and apply the strategies to their own country’s development activities.
