515 BNP men held in 24 hours: Rizvi

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi has claimed that more than 515 leaders and activists were arrested in the last 24 hours amid countrywide blockade.

The BNP leader came up with the claim at a virtual press conference on Wednesday.

“A total of 12,445 leaders and activists were arrested and 579 cases were filed since the October 28 grand rally”, he claimed.

The movement will continue till the goal of restoring democracy is achieved, he said.
