BNP likely to announce two-day blockade

The BNP and its like-minded opposition parties are likely to announce a two-day blockade starting from November 12 to press home their one-point demand for resignation of the government and holding election under a non-partisan government.

Earlier, sources said Hartal is likely to be announced on Sunday (November 12) and Monday (November 13).

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi will announce the program at a virtual press conference on Thursday afternoon, sources said.

Other parties will also announce a two-day blockade for Sunday (November 12) and Monday (November 13).
