Jamaat also calls 48-hour blockade

After BNP’s announcement, Jamaat-e-Islami has also called another 48-hour nationwide blockade starting from Sunday morning to press home their demands.

Acting Secretary General of the party Maulana ATM Masum made the announcement in a statement on Thursday evening.

Earlier, the BNP announced a 48-hour blockade starting from the morning of November 12 to press home their one-point demand for resignation of the government and holding election under a non-partisan government.

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the program at a virtual press conference.
