Another 48-hour blockade likely to be announced

The BNP and its like-minded opposition parties are likely to announce another 48-hour countrywide blockade in fifth round starting from November 15 to press home their one-point demand for resignation of the government, holding election under a non-partisan government and release of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

According to several sources of BNP and its like-minded parties, there will be no programmes on Tuesday (November 14). The fresh blockade is likely to be announced on Wednesday (November 15) and Thursday (November 16).

The BNP and its like-minded parties are supposed to announce the fresh dawn to dusk blockade on Monday (November 13) afternoon.
