BNP expels its 2 leaders from party

The BNP has expelled its two national executive committee members from the party for their alleged involvement in breaching party discipline.

The expelled leaders are Advocate Khandaker Ahsan Habib and Barrister Fakrul Islam.

A party press release, signed by its Assistant Office Secretary Taiful Islam Tipu, has been issued in this regard on Wednesday (November 15) evening.

Party sources said the action has been taken against the expelled leader as they took a position against BNP’s stance on not participating in the national elections under the current government.
