AL brings out processions to welcome poll schedule

The Awami League and its associated bodies have brought out processions in different places of the country to welcome the schedule of the 12th parliamentary election.

Processions were brought out in different places of Dhaka city on Wednesday evening.

Leaders and activists of the Awami League were seen gathering in and around the party’s Bangabandhu Avenue office in Gulistan after the noon, preparing to bring out a procession to welcome the polls schedule.

Earlier, the Election Commission (EC) announced that the 12th parliamentary election will be held on January 7 in 2024.
