Jamaat rejects election schedule

The Jamaat-e-Islami has rejected the election schedule announced by the Election Commission.

Acting Ameer of the party and former MP Prof Mujibur Rahman made the reaction in a statement sent to media on Wednesday night.

Earlier, the Election Commission (EC) announced the schedule for the 12th parliamentary election.
