Gono Odhikar Parishad calls 48-hour hartal from Sunday morning

Gono Odhikar Parishad has announced a 48-hour hartal starting from Sunday morning in protest against the schedule for the next parliamentary election announced by the Election Commission (EC).

Nurul Haque Nur, president of a section of the party, announced the strike from a procession in the city on Thursday.

Earlier, BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami called a 48-hour hartal across the country from Sunday (November 19) morning.
