Jamaat also calls 48-hour blockade from Sunday

After BNP’s announcement, Jamaat-e-Islami has also called another 48-hour nationwide blockade starting from Sunday morning to press home their demands.

Acting Secretary General of the party Maulana ATM Masum made the announcement in a statement on Thursday evening.

Earlier, BNP announced that it will observe another 48-hour countrywide blockade for the seventh time.

The blockade programme will be observed on Sunday (November 26) and Monday (November 27).

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the announcement in a virtual press conference on Thursday (November 23) afternoon.
