Technical board secures 91.25% pass rate

Results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations have been published. This time, the Technical Education Board has secured a 91.25% pass rate in the examinations.

Some 149,859 students appeared at the exams under the technical board. Of them, 136,751 have passed.

Last year, the Technical Education Board’s pass rate was 94.41% 

According to HSC and equivalent exam results published on Sunday (November 26), this year the average pass rate in 11 education boards of the country is 78.64%

This year a total of 1,374,488 students sat for HSC and equivalent exams from August 17 to September 25. Of them, a total of 10,67,852 students passed this year’s HSC exams from all boards.

Earlier, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni along with the chairmen of the education boards handed over the copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina around 10:00 am.
