AL to share 7 seats with members of 14-party alliance

The Awami League will share seven seats with the members of 14-party alliance in the 12th national election to be held on January 7.

Awami League Advisory Council Member and 14-party coordinator Amir Hossain Amu announced this on Thursday night.

Of the seven seats, Bangladesh Workers Party will get Barishal-3 (Rashed Khan Menon), Rajshahi-2 (Fazle Hossain Badsha) and Satkhira-1 (Mustafa Lutfullah), Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD-Inu) will get three (Kushtia-2, Bogura-4 and Feni-1)  and Jatiya Party (Manju) will get one.

The 14-party alliance candidates will contest in the election with the boat symbol instead of their party symbols.
