AL seeks permission for Victory Day rally

Dhaka City South unit of Awami League on Friday sought permission to hold a rally on December 18, marking victory day.

A letter signed by Awami League Dhaka South unit Office Secretary Mohammad Riaz Uddin was sent to Dhaka divisional commissioner this morning (December 15).

The Victory Day rally will move from Engineers Institution (Ramana) to Dhanmondi 32 through Matsya Bhavan, Shahbagh, Elephant Road at 2 pm.

Awami League general secretary and bridge minister Obaidul Quader will lead the rally as chief guest. Besides, central Awami League leaders, cabinet members, members of the parliament, and others leaders of the party will join the rally.
