BNP defers hartal to Tuesday in honour of late Kuwaiti Emir

The BNP deferred tomorrow’s countrywide dawn-to-dusk hartal to Tuesday (December 19) due to the death of Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah on Saturday.

The party’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi disclosed this at a virtual press briefing on Sunday (December 17) noon.

Tomorrow’s hartal is deferred to Tuesday because of the state mourning declared tomorrow for the death of Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Sabah on Saturday, Rizvi said.
