Due regulatory action if tax not paid: Obaidul

Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said proper steps will be taken if anyone doesn’t pay tax in the name of non-cooperation movement.

The AL leader said this while addressing reporters at Awami League president’s office in Dhanmondi on Thursday morning (December 21).

Obaidul Quader said that those who talks about ‘non-cooperation movement’, if they don’t pay tax, utility bill, then steps will be taken against them.

Pointing to the BNP leaders, Quader said Moyeen Khan (BNP standing committee member) dreamt a strange dream that there will be no election, and the government would not survive five days. Actually, the government will last five years, not five days.
