EU delegation holds meeting with BNP

Members of the visiting European Union (EU) election expert team held a meeting with Sylhet BNP leaders on Wednesday noon.

The meeting began at 12:00pm on Wednesday (December 27) at a city hotel.

BNP Chairperson’s Adviser Khandakar Abdul Mutkadir, former Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Ariful Haq Chowdhury and Sylhet BNP President Kaium Chowdhury were present at the meeting.

BNP leaders informed the EU that a one-sided election is going to be held in the country without opposition party.
