BNP’s one-point movement falls into ditch of Paltan

Awami League (AL) General Secretary Obaidul Quader has said BNP has fled from the field of politics after receiving red card due to its foul politics.

“Where is the BNP? There are 1,896 candidates in the election and we are ready to compete. But they (BNP) have fled away as its one-point movement fell into the ditch of Paltan,” he told an election rally of AL at Bangabandhu Udyan in Barishal city on Friday afternoon.

AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina spoke at the rally as the chief guest.

Quader said there is no leader except AL President Sheikh Hasina in Bangladesh who has the courage to acknowledge his or her past mistakes and vows to correct those.

AL President Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, has shown the courage and stated that the AL would take lessons from its past mistakes, he said.
