GM Quader nominated opposition leader, Anisul deputy leader, Mujibul chief whip

Jatiya Party (JaPa) Chairman Golam Mohammad Quader has been nominated as the leader of the opposition in parliament by his own party.

Co-chairman Anisul Islam Mahmud and Secretary General Mujibul Huq Chunnu have also been nominated as deputy leader of the opposition and chief whip of the opposition respectively.

The Jatiya Party Parliamentary Party took the decision at a meeting held at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban on Thursday (January 18).

The meeting also decided that Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury would be informed about the party’s decision in written.
