AL to distribute winter clothes 

Following the directive of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Relief and Social Welfare affairs sub-committee of Awami League will distribute winter clothes among cold-affected people in the city's Dhanmondi-32 on Friday.

AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader will present as the chief guest at the function to be held at 10:30am, said a press release signed by AL relief and social welfare secretary Aminul Islam Amin.

AL Advisory Council Member and its Relief and Social Welfare affairs sub-committee chairman AKM Rahmatullah will preside over the event.

AL organizing secretary Sujit Roy Nandi, International affairs secretary Dr Shammi Ahmed, Health and Population secretary Dr Rokeya Sultana, Central Working Committee member Shahabuddin Farazi and Nirmal Kumar Chatterjee, among others, will be present there.
