BNP’s black flag procession is a defeat procession: Quader

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said the BNP’s black flag procession is a defeat procession.

The AL general secretary made the remark at a winter clothe distribution program as the chief guest in the city's Dhanmondi-32 on Friday.

“BNP will soon realise the blunder the party has made by boycotting the 12th parliamentary election. BNP has no hope now as there are no sanctions and visa restrictions,” he said.

He claimed leaders and activists of the BNP have been arrested in cases based on specific allegations.

Quader said the opposition BNP is a dummy party in Bangladesh as frustration griped BNP leaders. 

Chaired by AL relief and social welfare secretary Aminul Islam Amin, the function was attended, among others, by AL organising secretary Sujit Roy Nandi and Ferdous Ahmed, MP.
