Bangladesh receives 176 crore US dollar remittance in 26 days

Bangladesh received US dollar of 176 crore 73 lakh and 40 thousand inward remittance in the first 26 days of January, with an average of 6 crore 79 lakh and 74 thousand US dollar per day.

The latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) revealed the information on Sunday (January 28).

According to the data, in these 26 days of January, the country received remittance of 13 crore 37 lakh US dollar through state-owned banks, 4 crore 89 lakh US dollar through a specialized bank, 157 crore 94 lakh through private banks, and 52 lakh 60 thousand US dollar through foreign banks.
