Number not a big deal, we are the only opposition in JS: JP secy gen

Jatiya Party (JP) Secretary General Mujibul Haque Chunnu said Jatiya Party is the sole opposition party in the Jatiya Sangsad (JS) which has come to the attention of the Speaker.

He said it will be mentioned in the proceedings of the Parliament. The number is not a big deal. The main thing is that who is the opposition in the Parliament.

Mujibul Haque Chunnu made the remarks while addressing reporters at the Jatiya Party chairman’s Banani office in the capital on Monday (January 29).

“We are the only opposition in the Parliament because the Speaker has recognized Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader as the leader of the opposition,” he said.
