BNP boycotts upazila elections

BNP decided to boycott the upazila elections, said BNP senior joint secretary general Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

The decision was taken during a virtual meeting of the BNP National Standing Committee.

The BNP leader made the announcement in a statement on Tuesday (April 16).

Rizvi said, BNP's national standing committee meeting decided to boycott the upcoming four-phase upazila parishad elections starting from May 8.
