AL aims to build smart Bangladesh under PM’s leadership: Quader

Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said the party has a pledge to build Smart Bangladesh under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina towards the implementation of Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Bangabandhu in the 75 years of its journey.

He said this in response to a question of journalists after paying tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a wreath at the portrait of the Father of the Nation at Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi-32 on Sunday (June 23) morning, marking the 75th founding anniversary of the ruling Awami League.

Quader said, “In 75 years, our commitment is that we will consolidate the victory achieved at the cost of our blood. The main obstacle on our way is the BNP, they spread misleading information in the name of the liberation war. Communal militant forces are our common enemy.”

“This common enemy is united under the leadership of BNP. Our oath today is to defeat this common enemy. We will consolidate our victory,” he said.

The Al veteran leader said, “The ruling Awami League has promised to build Smart Bangladesh under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina towards the implementation of Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Bangabandhu on the occasion of its 75th founding anniversary.”
