BNP men gathering at Nayapaltan rally venue

Defying rain, BNP leaders and activists are gathering at the party’s Nayapaltan office demanding unconditional release of party chairperson Khaleda Zia as its rally scheduled earlier started at 2:30pm on Saturday (June 29).

The party activists were seen chanting slogans in front of the party office. The makeshift stage has already been prepared for the rally.

After around eight months, BNP organised a rally for unconditional release of party chairperson Khaleda Zia.

Earlier on June 26, BNP announced a three-day protest programme demanding release of the party chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced these programmes at a press briefing at Nayapaltan party office.

Besides, BNP will also hold rally on July 1 in all metropolis of the country and rally on July 3 in the district headquarters.
