Khaleda Zia to be taken abroad soon: Fakhrul

BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the party chairperson Khaleda Zia will soon be taken abroad for better treatment.

Fakhrul said this while addressing a doa mahfil program at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office in Dhaka on Friday morning (August 16).

BNP organized the program on the occasion of Khaleda Zia’s 80th birth anniversary.

Describing the long struggle, he said, no woman leader in the world has ever fought for democracy like this. Begum Khaleda Zia came out of the house and saved the party from autocracy.

Meanwhile, Mirza Fakhrul urged all to stay united.
