Chief Adviser to sit with political parties again today

Chief Adviser of the interim government Dr. Professor Muhammad Yunus will hold dialogues with political parties today (October 19) on continuation of its new round of political dialogue aiming to advance the state reform works.
Chief Adviser’s press wing sources said that 15 political parties including Gano Forum, Liberal Democrats Party (LDP), Bangladesh Jatiya Party (Andaleeve), 12-party alliance, National Mukti Council, Labor Party and Bangladesh Jatiya Party (BJP) would attend the dialogue.
Earlier on Tuesday evening, Chief Adviser’s Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder said dialogues will be held with some other political parties to discuss how the reform process can be advanced and their (political parties) opinions will be sought to this end.
On October 5, 2024, the government initiated a new round of political dialogue with the political parties, while Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and some major political parties attended the dialogues on that day.
