BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that the interim government has done many jobs in the last three months after the fall of the Awami League government in the mass uprising of the students and people.
He said this after paying tribute at the grave of their party founder, ex-President Ziaur Rahman in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar on Thursday (November 7), marking the National Revolution and Solidarity Day.
“We believe, if we all cooperate with them (interim government) and if they are able to hold an election at a suitable and reasonable time, they will be able to meet the challenges that the nation is facing,” Fakhrul said.
