All eyes on Manik Mia Avenue

A new political party named the Jatiya Nagorik Party, or the National Citizens' Party (NCP), is set to be officially launched on Friday afternoon (February 28).

The formal announcement of the party is scheduled to take place at 3pm at the venue.

Centering the issue, the concentration of all now at the rally at Manik Mia Avenue in Dhaka.

The stage has been prepared for the event. The construction of washrooms and various booths along with the stage is almost complete. Separate booths have been arranged for women behind the stage. Special arrangements have been made for VIPs.

The party insiders said family members of martyrs of July Uprising and injured people will participate in the program.
