Rezzak-Moudud at jail gate to meet Khaleda

Staff Correspondent: Five members of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's lawyer panel went to the old Dhaka central jail on Nazimuddin Road to meet her.
The lawyer panel includes Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Barrister Jamiruddin Sircar and Abdur Rezzak Khan among five reached the jail gate around 2:45pm on Saturday.
They told reporters that they went there to meet BNP Chief Khaleda Zia.
They, however, did not clear whether they took permission earlier in this regard.
Barrister Moudud Ahmed said, "We five lawyers have come here to meet Khaleda Zia. We have yet known whether we are allowed. We will meet her and listen if she has any direction."
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia landed in jail on Thursday, after she was handed a five-year imprisonment for misappropriating a donation fund of Zia Orphanage Trust graft case.
