'No bar if BNP gives up destructive programmes'

Staff Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said BNP will be allowed for peaceful democratic programme if the party gives up its burning and destructive demonstration.

The Minister came up with the statement while speaking at a programme at National Sports Council in the capital on Friday noon.

He said, "The government does not prevent any democratic demonstration. We have no problem to allow BNP for peaceful demonstration if the party shun burning and destructive programme. Because, the government does not want to snatch away democratic rights of anybody."

"The country is moving forward. There is no alternative of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for country's development. She not only removed hunger and poverty but also lifted up the corrupted country to a level," he added.

He said, "Country's people will also get a new announcement over the country's development within March."
