Ex-whip Mostafa Suja passes away

Staff Correspondent, Khulna:  Former whip, General Secretary of Khulna district Awami League and MP from Khulna-4 Mostafa Rashidi Suja died at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore on Thursday night. He was 65.

Suja breathed his last around 12 am, according to family sources.

The former whip, who had been suffering from kidney ailments, was admitted to the hospital on July 18.

Suja left behind wife, one son, two daughters and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
He was elected parliament member from Khulna-4 constituency (Rupsha, Terokhada, Digholia) thrice. Suja was made whip by the then ruling Awami League in 1996.
