People have no confidence on ‘National Unity’: Quader

Noakhali Correspondent: Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said that people have no confidence on the recently formed ‘National Unity’ as there is no leader in the alliance.

Branding it as a mixed alliance, Obaidul Quader made a question “Who is their leader? Who will lead?  Can any movement continues without a leader?”

The minister said this while speaking at a meeting of election preparation at the residence of Ekramul Karim Chowdhury, MP of Noakhali-4 constituency and general secretary of district Awami League, at Kabirhat upazila on Tuesday noon.

Kabirhat Upazila Awami League President Nurul Amin Rumi presided over the meeting while MP Ekramul Karim Chowdhury, Kabirhat Upazila Chairman Kamrun Nahar Seuli, Kabirhat municipality mayor Jahirul Haq Raihan, among others, spoke at the meeting.
